NISSAN AMPLIFIED x ROAD TO STARDOM

Launching Black Music Month, we went on a journey to music tentpoles hosted by Jay Ellis amplifying Nissan’s equity in music with 'Nissan Amplified', an artist platform diving into the stories of the next big act.

 

Together we transformed the All-New 2025 Nissan Kicks into a state-of-the-art recording studio, where both artists and fans were able to enjoy immersive behind-the-wheel music experiences during pop ups events in LA and Vegas.

Keeping the campaign alive throughout the year we highlighted artists on their 'Road to Stardom' through docu-style interviews and performances featuring Nissan's fleet of vehicles.

Strategic partnerships like Nissan and rising artist FlauJae Johnson, who mentioned the brand in her single with Lil Wayne, transformed organic artist moments into a dynamic collaboration.

Artists Featured in 2024 Include: Ayra Starr, Tanner Adell, CoCo Jones, Fridayy, Leon Thomas, Lady London, FlauJae Johnson, October London + Domani.

SPRITE LIMELIGHT PERFORMANCE

DOECHII

The Sprite Limelight Program is a music-focused social impact initiative that leverages the global platform of Sprite, the popular beverage brand, to support and uplift emerging artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. The program aims to spotlight artists who use their music to engage with social issues and promote positive change, allowing them to reach wider audiences and build connections with fans around the world.

To amplify their latest artist Doechii, we produced an exclusive performance of her Sprite single "Rocket" to air in the 2024 BET Awards.

CHEETOS x BAD BUNNY
DEJA TU HUELLA

Cheetos and global superstar Bad Bunny teamed up for the third consecutive year to support Hispanic communities through the Deja tu Huella (Leave Your Mark) campaign featuring an exclusive merch collab with Adidas.

 

In 2022, Cheetos launched the $500,000 Deja tu Huella Fund where fans were invited to share through TikTok how they would use $25,000 to make a positive impact on Hispanic communities in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Whether through art, music, fashion, food, education, community service or another creative outlet using their "magic touch".

Social media exceeded benchmarks across all platforms with over 4 billion views, and Cheetos drew attention for their prominent role in the American Music Awards.

CITI BANK BUY BLACK
POP UP

Took over Paramount Studios in Hollywood, for the 3rd annual Gala & a pop-shop experience, The Fifteen Shop, in partnership with Citi.

 

The shops featured over 70 owned brands, including the Fifteen Percent Pledge grant finalists who were awarded $350k in grant prizes from our partners Shop with Google & SEPHORA.

To support Black-owned businesses Citi Bank also matched purchases made with a Citi credit card on the Fifteen Shop, dollar for dollar, in the form of a $150,000 donation to the Fifteen Percent Pledge.

AMERICAN EXPRESS
AWARDS WATCH PARTY + SHOP SMALL POP UP

In celebration of Black Excellence, American Express teamed up with BET for a BET Awards Watch Party featuring an iSPENDBLACK, pop-up shop highlighting Black-owned small businesses and an interactive Hip Hop 50th Museum. 

Hosted by LaLa Anthony and featuring a perfomance by 6Lack, the immersive experience inspired the next generation keeping Black business at the forefront through every detail.

BET has curated iSpendBlack, a pop-up marketplace experience shining a light on Black Owned businesses that have a shared commitment to community growth and empowerment.

2ND ANNUAL SEPHORA BEAUTY GRANT
FIFTEEN PERCENT PLEDGE

In partnership with Sephora, the Sephora Beauty Grant, awarded one Black business owner within the beauty industry a $100,000 grant to unlock the next level of growth and potential for their brand. 

As part of this grant, the Pledge team helped facilitate a bridge between the grantee and the Sephora team, continuing the mission to create an ecosystem where Black businesses and retailers can be connected.

NORDSTROM x NYC PITCH FIFTEEN
FIFTEEN PERCENT PLEDGE

Black entrepreneurs continue to face systemic barriers when it comes to accessing funding to grow their businesses.

In 2023, Black founders in the U.S. received just 0.48% of all venture capital dollars. These barriers also extend into our banking systems, where 57% of Black business owners are denied a bank loan during the formation of their business.

Fifteen Percent Pledge is working to close that gap. To date, the Pledge has awarded over $650,000 in direct funding to Black-owned businesses, allowing founders to make their own decisions about how and where to spend investment in order to scale their production. Now we are back with a brand new grant opportunity, and our first ever pitch competition. 

We’re inviting all Black founders in our Business Equity Community to apply for their chance to live-pitch their business to a panel of expert judges at a special event in NYC in early June produced by North Six. You asked and we listened – there are no business size or revenue restrictions for this opportunity, so throw your hat in the ring! The winner will walk away with a $15,000 grant, supported by Nordstrom, to power the growth of their business.

x SMARTFOOD POPCORN

Pop princess Olivia Rodrigo,  broke the internet when she dropped her highly anticipated ‘Good 4 U’ music video featuring SmartFood Popcorn.

Launching the day before her debut SNL performance

on NBC, the video quickly went viral on social, gaining over 37 Million views in less than the first week alone and took it’s place as #1 most streamed song on Spotify.

Later in the year, 'Good 4 U' was nominated Song of the Summer at the MTV VMAs!

FAN'S CHOICE 

Created by GRAMMY®️ award winning producers and entrepreneurs Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, VERZUZ was launched in March of 2020 took the world by storm!

What started as a battle between two friendly rivals has grown into an award winning series. 

In the spirit of putting fans first, for the first time ever the Doritos x Verzuz 'Fan's Choice' partnership allowed fans to vote for their favorite battle song to be played all the way through.

 

Each vote also served as a sweepstakes entry for the chance to win a chance to meet Swizz + Timb, backstage sneak peek before the battle, autographed plaque with exclusive merch or custom AirPods.

x NORMANI 

As the face of snack brand Cracker Jacks' new Cracker Jill campaign, aimed at highlighting the accomplishments and tenacity of women in sports, the "Motivation" performer is living out the sports star dreams she held as a child.

As part of the campaign, Normani re-made the iconic 'Take Me Out To The Ball Game' song. The 90-second commercial also includes clips of women sports figures including tennis player Coco Gauff and wrestler Heaven Fitch, among others, and introduces viewers to five limited-edition Cracker Jill snack bags, each featuring a different female athlete illustration.

x JAY ROCK

In celebration of the highly anticipated opening of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers new home at SoFi Stadium, Pepsi, the official soft drink of SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, we brought local football fans a taste of the in-stadium action while at home.

Pepsi partnered with Top Dawg Entertainment recording LA native Jay Rock to create the first ever pregame show at SoFi Stadium.

Tostitos partners with iconic actor Danny Trejo and music sensation Sofia Reyes for its Fiesta Remix campaign, where fans can get inspiration for fresh ways to shake up their Cinco de Mayo celebrations!

 

Returning for his second year working with Tostitos, Trejo is joined by fellow remix master Reyes to inspire fans to blend their unique styles for Cinco de Mayo and summer fiesta festivities. In the digital commercial for the campaign, Danny and Sofia share their takes on how to add a fresh spin on any party with things like a queso fountain, mariachi bands and, of course, their favorite Tostitos chips and dips.

The Yankee Stadium 2 night concert event  — which drew roughly 85,000 across both nights — made Santos the first Latin music act to headline a concert at the current Yankee Stadium, and the first to do so at any of the New York Yankees' homes since the legendary Fania All-Stars four decades ago.
